International Logistics Coordinator - Ocean & Air Freight

Summary:

A industry leading transportation company is looking to hire a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position that offers benefits from day one.

Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and oversee international and domestic transportation, including ocean, air, and ground freight.
* Manage end-to-end shipment life cycle, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and cost efficiency.
* Collaborate with customers, vendors, and carriers to maintain visibility and resolve logistics issues.
* Monitor and track shipments, providing status updates and maintaining accurate records.
* Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Ensure accurate documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, commercial invoices, and delivery orders.
* Coordinate warehousing, distribution, and inventory management based on customer requirements.
* Process billing for logistics services, verifying charges, and maintaining billing reports.
* Communicate with international offices and alert management to opportunities or issues.
* Maintain and update standard operating procedures for logistics processes.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience in transportation and distribution, including import processes, cargo documentation, and inland trucking coordination for LCL/FCL.
* Familiarity with cargo consolidation, warehouse distribution (cross-docking, segregation), PO management, retail distribution, and vendor consigned shipments.
* Bilingual in English/Spanish
