What You’ll Do: Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Analysis: Collaborate with the Operations Team to collect and analyze data on daily tray sales, focusing on tray size and commodity composition.
• On-Site Engagement: Visit seedline facilities alongside the Operations Team to observe and analyze the seed-sowing process. Engage with the seedline production team, utilizing your Spanish-speaking abilities, to gather insights and understand operational procedures.
• Dashboard Development: Utilize data collected to develop dashboards using Excel and Power BI. Transform raw data into interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Process Evaluation: Evaluate existing data capture methods and processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Explore potential solutions for optimizing data capture efficiency and accuracy.
• Strategic Recommendations: Provide recommendations on the best approach for capturing and processing data to meet organizational goals. Consider both technological and non-technological solutions to enhance data capture workflows.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in testing and refining proposed data capture solutions. Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize data capture efficiency and accuracy.

Internship Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates are pursuing studies in Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Must possess eligibility to work in the United States.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI is required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Availability for a 6–8-week commitment.

*The compensation range for this role is determined by factors such as location and required skills. The salary range provided reflects the lowest to highest amount we reasonably anticipate paying for this position at the time of posting. Compensation is influenced by labor market conditions and various factors, including but not limited to: the prevailing minimum wage in the area, relevant education, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance,  travel requirements, sales or revenue targets, and business needs. It is not typical for a new hire to be offered the highest end of the salary range. Pay decisions are made based on the unique circumstances of each candidate and position. 

Range $19.00-$23.00.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include close distance and color vision.
